11 November 2002 - Quite open US Office

Quite Software have opened a new regional office in San Diego, California. It will serve customers throughout the United States and is headed by Charles James, most recently associated with DK&A Inc. as Vice President of Technical Services and Marketing. Charles has worked for major players such as Xerox and Sony, and has 22 years of experience in the printing industry, including an extensive background in pre-press management and operations.

1 February 2002 - Announcing Quite Revealing

Quite Revealing is an Acrobat plug-in designed for pre-press professionals (much as we hate to admit it, if you don't work in pre-press, or don't know what pre-press is, this plug-in probably won't help you).

It aims to show information that is otherwise difficult to find about a PDF document. Information like the plates used, transparency, overprinting and more. But Quite Revealing goes further than that. It can also fix some of the more awkward problems that can arise - like differently named spot plates, unwelcome transfer functions, or ICC profiles that don't belong. For more details visit our Quite Revealing home page or see the brochure (PDF, 2 pages, 235K).

We really want to hear what you think. Did you know that our Quite Imposing plug-in had over 600 beta testers? By hearing from people using the product at work, we were able to make it much better. Please let us know at feedback@quite.com.
