Towel wrapped rat!
He is sweeter smelling now which may be causing him trouble keeping his top rat status, I think the others think he smells like a tart's boudoir as the saying goes. This is doing nothing for his street cred!

We have a new rat now, rescued from my old Vets where
I used to work. His name is Dexter and he is brown and white
hooded. I gave him a bath last night which he wasn't too keen
on but he was a very brave rat and let me shampoo him
(he was rather smelly). After a little swim to rinse all the
soap off (never let anyone tell you rats can't swim. That
old Pied Piper story was just a scam. In my version, the rats
swam downstream to the next town for the whole thing to begin
again!), he lept into the waiting towel. He liked being dried
with the fluffy towel and played tug-and-groom with it for ages!
